Simple File Manager

Simple File Manager is a PHP-based file manager that allows files to be uploaded, renamed, edited, and deleted. It can also create sub-directories, require authentication, restrict the files and directories that can be edited, specify disk space quotas and maximum file sizes, and more.

    Release Notes: This version adds a Create New File feature that includes definable path limits as well as definable extensions. It fixes a copy-move bug that did not offer directories below first level, as well as a user upload bug and other various minor bugs.

      Release Notes: The move/copy (MvCp) function was added, which allows copying or moving of files to approved directories. A block for uploading and directory creation was also added. Support for additional file-types was added. Various minor bug fixes were made.

        Release Notes: This version includes the addition of an internal text viewer and control of image viewing. HTML encoding of text within editor and text viewer is supported. The documentation was improved and filetype support was added. Fixes include for losses due to spaces within directories and a broken editor due to certain text embedded within a file.

          Release Notes: Downloading of unknown filetypes was enabled. The use of MIME type definitions was added. An internal image viewer which supports GIF, JPEG, and PNG was added. Support for the PNG, PDF, and RTF filetypes was added. Bug fixes include the removal short PHP tags, the stripping of HTML tags out of filenames, correct saving of sort state for the delete and rename options. The code is now compatible with the globals off feature of PHP 4.2 and higher.

            Release Notes: Extension Locking turns uploaded scripts off based on defined extensions. Rename Blocking bans renaming of files to banned extensions. Default Sort is now definable. Bugfixes include directory and filename filters, which were not stripping banned characters. The upload name ban filter was also fixed.
