Release Notes: This release includes OpenOffice.org 2.3rc3, Pidgin 2.1.1, and VirtualBox 1.5. It is available on a DVD, single CDs (GNOME and KDE editions), and Live CDs (GNOME and KDE editions).

If openSUSE is installed from CDs, the user is offered the option to bring up network connection in order to be able to install a remote add-on product together with openSUSE. This release is based on Linux kernel 2.6.22-rc4 and glibc 2.6, and it ships with KDE 3.5.7, KOffice 1.6.3, Firefox 2.0.0.4, and OpenOffice.Org 2.2.1rc3.

Release Notes: Along with countless bugfixes, X.org was updated to 7.2rc2, CUPS to 1.2.7, D-BUS to 1.0, and Evolution to 2.8.2.
