Version 2.00 beta 4 of Super Grub2 Disk

Release Notes: Some unnecessary seeks on floppy drives have been removed. Bootable ISO files are now detected in /boot/boot-isos, /boot-isos, /bootisos, and /boot/bootisos folders, which makes it possible to use FAT devices. Bad handling of console output modes that caused jitter when navigating through the menus was fixed.

Other releases

Release Notes: The Mac OS X boot entry was fixed so that it boots again. Some extra boot parameters were added to the aforementioned Mac OS X boot entry. Finally, some menu entry boot parameters were double quoted to avoid problems in the future with variables with spaces on them.

Release Notes: The Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) detection subsystem was improved to detect all the lower and upper case combinations of efi file extensions and ESP directories. That improvement allows Super Grub2 Disk to find its own EFI extension-based released files.

Release Notes: The operating system detection script now always shows the operating system partition. A bug that avoided proper EFI detection was fixed. New standalone images for: x86_64-efi, i386-efi, i386-coreboot, and i386-ieee1275 are available. A bug that made translations not show correct characters was fixed. The Spanish translation was updated to match the newest options. Some minor design improvements were implemented.

Release Notes: A new option named "grub.cfg - Extract entries" was added. This option enables the loading of grub.cfg entries even if they were set up with a 0-second timeout by default. A new Exit menu enables the user to halt or reboot the machine. Among other improvements to the UI, the user can now see which option has been selected, and it is easier to return to previous menus.

Release Notes: A new option named 'Everything +' was added to make easier to boot into different operating systems. It probes all GRUB modules before trying to detect them. A more consistent UI has been implemented thanks to the mostly complete rewrite of internal scripts as libraries. Additional downloads for coreboot, i386-efi, i386-pc, ieee1275, and x86_64_efi platforms were added.
