Release Notes: A timezone map is now displayed by default, and that default map is adjustable through a new -defimage command line option. A new vector map of world political boundaries has also been added, and a few minor improvements have been made.

Release Notes: The GUI has been revamped: all menus now use buttons with a 3D look, and key shortcut hints have been substantially improved. Several small bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: This version offers a preliminary screensaver functionality. It also comes essentially at the end of the 3.4* development series, and should therefore be much more stable than the earlier 3.4* releases - most segfault bugs should have been ironed out.

Release Notes: Sunclock can now periodically update the root window. It also has an animation routine showing the evolution of time at an accelerated pace. The handling of X events has been improved (particularly iconification).

Release Notes: Sunclock now provides support for copying the maps onto the root window. The behavior of several options related to color management has been improved. The Italian localization has been updated, and many small bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: The option handling mechanism and the option widget have been improved: several options can be configured simultaneously in one line (or run). A few color and new geometry options have been added. This release should be the last one in the 3.3x series.

Release Notes: Sunclock now includes a command widget which allows you to configure all options (colors, fonts, language, ...) at runtime. Some speed enhancements have also been made, and a few memory leaks were corrected. This version includes an automatic detection of bigendian X displays; it should be more stable than the few previous ones.

Release Notes: The zoom widget is now easier to use and offers more efficient functions, related GUI and command line options have been added, and a lot of minor bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: The zoom widget has been improved and fixed. Dutch and Italian localizations have been updated. A new huge 11Mb Earthmap is available on the FTP site, producing very precise maps with zoom factor as large as 20.
