SubLib is a library that eases the development of subtitling applications. It supports the most common text-based subtitle formats and allows for subtitle editing, conversion, and synchronization.

Text lines without timings can now be imported from a plain text file. Different subtitle formats now share similar headers when edited.
Release Notes: This release features support for subtitle translation, allowing the importation of translations into existing subtitles as well as editing of the translation text, using search methods on the translation, and saving the translated subtitles. Encoding detection now uses all detected encodings, instead of the first only. Some bugs that were visible when doing a backwards search were fixed. NCharDet has been updated.
Release Notes: This release added a property to specify the type of newline (Macintosh, Unix, or Windows) to be used when saving subtitles.
Release Notes: File-related state (character coding, path, subtitle format) isn't maintained anymore after parsing. All file-related properties are stored in FileProperties instead of SubtitleProperties. The parsing engine has been refactored, with ParsingProperties being used to store the properties set during parsing. The codepage attribution for some character codings has been fixed. Some were removed as no codepages were available. SubtitleSaver now includes all file saving functionality. This was simplified, with most overloaded methods being removed. New and Open methods were also simplified. The documentation has been updated.
