Personally I stumbled on stripcmt just now while I was looking for something just like it. I have a bunch of C++ that is a mix of ascii and wide (japanese) characters. The wide chars are killing the C++ lexer, but luckily they're all in the comments, so...
Just goes to show there's a use for every obscure thing in the universe.
Is there any reason to remove comments from a source
code of a compiled language?
