Release Notes: Fixes ambient sounds, sheep quest, and a sheep immortality bug. Fixes a messed up equipment bug. Adds an Event system to ease the development of the client. Adds sword beam to show attack, a Quest system, and a very basic scripts system. Adds ranged combat. This release has new monsters ( around 30 new monsters ) and new zones ( in this release 3 new zones, but really around 20 more ).
Release Notes: Fixes a null pointer bug in creature logic. Fixed the drink and food queue so you can consume potions even if full. Speeds up client and changes sync event management so the game is less laggy. Now you can buy several items in a batch (e.g. buy 5 potions). Items bought are automatically stacked. Sheep heal themselves slowly. Admins are now denoted with yellow names. NPCs don't say goodbye if you are not talking to them. Portals are walkable now. It looks better. Giant rat corpses are bigger. Monsters talk (but don't chat). Ambient sounds have been added. ATK and DEF loss on death have been fixed.
Release Notes: Configuration files are stored now in ~/stendhal. Carmen at Semos now sells potions and antidotes. Venomous rats are now weaker. Their poison hurts less and the antidote gives immunity for two minutes. An inventory bug was worked around by disabling left button dragging. Temple, Blacksmith, Kanmararn entrace, Or'ril dungeon level 3, and Jail areas were added along with six new creatures.
Release Notes: This release adds a venom rat. Upon death, players lose levels, XP, ATK, and DEF. Data has been organized in Java Webstart so that everything is now inside the stendhal folder. Protection zones have been added to avoid PK, and a blood anticampers feature has been fixed. There is a new food, drinks, potions, and poisons system. Item stacking has been improved. A sound system has been added. The inventory self closes bug has been fixed. The client now shows the stats of the equipped items.

Release Notes: This version fixed a chat bug, inspected slot and sync problems, fixed an afterlife problem, corrected a weapon seller bug that occurred when money equaled the item price, and fixed a problem with player stats not being stored. A version number mismatch in the client was fixed along with a bug with Items being dropped and the game not allowing players that equip them to logout correctly. An issue with the "where" command was fixed. Double clicking corpses now inspects them, and double click on creatures attacks them. Client initialization was sped up and daisy animations were slowed. Critical hit/critical failure was added.
Release Notes: A ghost sheep bug and inventory handling were fixed. Minimap and money were added. Weapons and sheep now cost money. Money items can be joined in a single object. Corpses have items inside and the item amount appears in the inventory. You can now move items inside inspected entities, and you can't inspect or open an entity while you are not near it. The equip, moveequip, and drop actions were refactored. Corpses are now removed from player slots on load. NPCs cannot be attacked anymore, and they won't increase your stats. A problem in which the icon did not show on the Java webstart version was fixed. The afterlife map was replaced.

It adds a bag slot (one item only), a giant rat, and three new areas (a valley and two levels of a rat dungeon). It changes sprites to PNG, changes to a modifiable server name at the login text area, eases creature killing. moves items in inventories, and speeds combat.

It restructures the client entity system, completes the dungeon_001 map, and adds slots and club, sword, shield, and armor items. It implements a new combat system and sets new monsters stats. There are several map fixes and the tilesets were changed to PNG. There are 6 devel points on player creation, new NPC dialogs, a weapon seller, and ownerless sheep were removed. Sato no longer kills sheep.
