Release Notes: This release adds an image viewer (ask Monogenes about a map of Semos), as well as a SignLessor NPC so that players can rent a sign for a day. There is improved interaction with NPCs (for example, they understand numbers spelled out as words). Jailing of offline players has been added, freeing even after the server restarts. Persistent, non-player related data (zone storage) has been implemented. 26.7% of the code (block counts) is now covered by automated Junit tests.
Release Notes: Semos is decorated for Christmas! Find Santa to get your Christmas gift. A features called 'grumpy' allows you to ignore messages from anyone but your buddies. Do /help to learn more. The cold winter has brought ice and air elementals, and they've taught the fire, water, and earth elementals to toughen up. A new skill is required to get past the lich lair.
Release Notes: The new city of Kirdneh was added east of Fado forest. Player houses were added in Ados and Kalavan city gardens. NPCs were added in Kalavan city gardens. A new quest was added from Annie in Kalavan city gardens (buy icecream). A new quest was added from Morgrin in the wizard school in magic city (kill spiders). A password quality check is done on account creation. 14.2% of the code is now covered by automated Junit tests. The way quests are coded was improved.
Release Notes: The codebase was ported to Marauroa 2.0. New Zones, Creatures, and Quests were added. Divorce is now possible. Players can buy houses, care for cats, and are informed when antidote wears off. Rings respect noTeleport zones. A server reset doesn't spawn all creatures at t=0. Tiles are animated once more.
Release Notes: The keyring is two slots bigger to accommodate new items that players may acquire. Nalwor tower is open with a resident princess with a quest. The Quest for the Club of Thorns is in the expanded Kotoch Entrance. The Ados bar has a Maid who sells food. Ados castle is full of bandits and ninja. East of Fado was extended, and includes a woodcutter, leprechauns, and oni palace. Entity slot item quantity is now right aligned and supports the "million" suffix (#####M). The Kikareukin islands float in the sky above the Semos Mountain outdoor temple. Many new creatures were added.
Release Notes: Houses in Kobold City (Wofol) have opened their doors, and include a weapons trader and a mountain dwarf who needs errands run. Ados Barracks buys good armor, shields, and legs, and Ados haunted house has a basement and a resident ghost who wants to know about other spirits. The quartermaster of the Mithrilbourgh army requires boots and helmets. A GM /gag command has been added to silence players (it works like /jail), and Push has been added to push players, creatures, etc. You can make a wish at Wishing Wells, to get money, gold nuggets, gems, wood, etc. Several new creatures for levels 30-90 have been added.
Release Notes: Fado city is now open. A sleeping cow now indicates that a player is away. Maps were ported to a new format that is a lot less memory intensive. Maps can now have their own tile sets. Buildings and many outsides and interiors were redrawn with new public domain graphics. 30 new types of monsters were added along with 40 new items.
Release Notes: A scoring system was introduced in deathmatch instead of XP. A quest to deliver pizza to several NPCs was added. A sunny island and a new quest on it were added. Blackjack gambling on the ferry was added. A drow attack to nalwor was added. Fishing spots and a fishing rod were added. Gold sources, gold nuggets, and gold bars which can be cast by the goldsmith in Ados were added. Ados city is finished. A daily item quest from the Ados mayor and a quest to get the keyring were activated.
Release Notes: The name and HP bar are now always visible. When the client is minimized, stendhal stops drawing. Only one support message per minute is allowed. An item may not be dragged into the same slot as another. Client command handling was improved. Items can be removed from under a creature. A trading table was added in semos townhall. Closed panel windows now keep state on restart. Rat city is open. Zone configuration is now done using XML. Ctrl+r in the GUI clears all active text bubbles.
Release Notes: Sheep food now shows up in the minimap as an obstacle. The client supports multiple login profiles (for those that use multiple servers). Quest reward items cannot be given to other players. There is a server implementation of ignore lists for /msg. A problem with marked_scrolls pointing to removed zones was fixed. Auto-update was improved to retry in case of server problem. Creatures now walk around each other. A problem which caused jumpy movement of slow creatures and NPCs was fixed.
