    Release Notes: Greatly improved cartridge bankswitch type auto-detection. Auto-detection of display type (NTSC or PAL). Improved emulation timing when exiting one ROM and starting another. A toggle for PAL color-loss emulation. Rudimentary support for configuring the UI palette, and the ability to change the size of the launcher window (will be expanded on in future releases). A reworked options menu that's accessible from the ROM launcher as well as while playing a ROM. Improved emulation for games using Keypad controllers.

      Release Notes: Speedups in software rendering for all ports. Moved to a more familar 'tab' functionality in the UI, with remapping for UI events. PAL60 and user-defined palette support. OpenGL mode now supports sync to vblank. Various enhancements in the ROM browser. Paddle games now work automatically. An updated build system for Debian, and the libpng dependency has been removed. Several other TIA-related fixes have been made.

        Release Notes: This release adds a new 'filesystem-based' ROM browser mode. The ROM properties file has been integrated for faster startup. Settings and properties file handling has been reworked, and only saves to external files when necessary. An option has been added to turn off all visual tweaks for a more authentic look. 'Jitter compensation' for paddles on Stelladaptor has been added. There are various bugfixes to the debugger and snapshot code. A universal binary for the OS X port has been added. There are many changes for the GP2X port.

          Release Notes: This release adds phosphor support (eliminates flicker on 30Hz ROMs). The cheat manager has been totally reworked, with the ability to load/edit/save cheats internally. 'joymouse' mouse emulation has been improved. EventManager has been reworked to support mapping of multiple joystick axes and hats. Dynamic loading of the OpenGL library has been implemented. WinCE and GP2X ports have been added.

            Release Notes: "dirtyrects" support was added, speeding up rendering in some cases. Fixes were made for case-sensitivity in the ROM launcher. Searching within ZIP archives is supported. Bugs related to debugger height, snapshot crashes, incorrect event mappings, and loading symbol files generated under different operating systems were fixed.

              Release Notes: An integrated GUI, ROM launcher, and debugger was added. The sound subsystem was improved. Support was added for cartridge "frying", zipped ROMs, editing of game properties directly within the application, and the 3E bankswitching format. Initial support for "arcade-box" use, preliminary cheatcode support, and fixes for AMD64 and PPC64 Linux 64-bit issues were added.

                Release Notes: This release updates the sound system to remove all popping and cracking sounds. It fixes the gl_fsmax argument, and adds Alt [ and Alt ] keys to dynamically adjust the sound volume, Control 0, Control 1, Control 2, and Control 3 keys to dynamically change which paddle the mouse should emulate. It also adds a video_driver argument, and makes sure the screen is refreshed before taking a snapshot.

                  Release Notes: Updated sound code for PAL games. The SDL event gathering loop has been cleaned up. A bug with remapping Ctrl and Alt keys has been fixed. The stella.pro file has been updated to the latest Good2600 ROMset. ROM naming and SDL issues on Windows have been fixed. Preference bugs in OS X have been fixed.

                    Release Notes: The codebase was ported to SDL. New Windows and Mac OS X ports were created. OpenGL rendering support, event remapping, native Stelladaptor support, support for switchable palettes, and support for UA Limited style bankswitching were added. Digital sound support was greatly improved. High compatibility M6502 mode is now used.

                      Release Notes: A SDL port was made, a 'pause' command was added, and support for illegal CPU instructions and undefined TIA reads was added. More accurate NTSC and PAL palettes were included. This release also supports the Commandiv bank switching method, the Megaboy cartridge, and Pitfall II (without enhanced sound). Supercharger cartridge emulation was improved, and .INI option file support was added for the X11 and SDL versions. PNG screen snapshots can now be made under X11 and SDL.
