Release Notes: There is a new tabbed session user interface, though the classic MD interface is still available. Using the new software update manager, you can update SQuirreL in place without downloading the installer. There are some additional refactoring pattern implementations. There is much better support for SQLite. Many other improvements were made for performance and ease-of-use.

Date column handling was improved. The Graph plugin now allows saving of graphs in JPEG image files. Many bugs were also fixed.
Release Notes: A bug where database aliases weren't saved was fixed. Copying Oracle LOB columns now works in the DBCopy plugin. Trigger details are now displayed. Tables now show in DB/2 ISeries. A data editing issue was fixed. Issues with Sun High-Availability Database and the DBCopy plugin were fixed. An issue where the same table is found in multiple schemas/catalogs to which the user has access fixed.

Release Notes: A plugin architecture has been added, with plugins for MySQL, Oracle, SQL scripts, changing the look and feel, and SQL validation released. Multiple SQL statements can now be executed with the results being shown in a tabbed folder. Multiple jar files (and directories) can now be specified for a JDBC driver.
Release Notes: Squirrel SQL Client is now compatible with the JDK 1.4. Due to bugs in previous beta versions of JDK1.4, if you use JDK 1.4 make sure that you use the newly released beta 3.
Release Notes: This release addresses two issues. First, the wrong path separator was used in the install script for \plugins\lafs and plugins\skins, preventing the script from working under Unix. Second, the software now works with Sybase/jConnect.
Release Notes: Errors caused by JDBC drivers that require a more recent version of the JDK than that which Squirrel SQL is being run on are now handled gracefully. Popup menus are now correctly positioned under JDK1.2. Squirrel SQL now has a decent splash screen.
