SquidRestrict

SquidRestrict is a Web-based tool that allows multiple time restrictions to be placed on Internet usage for firewalls that use Squid. Primarily, the focus of SquidRestrict is on the Linux-based firewalls IPCop and Smoothwall.

    Release Notes: This release updates the writeacls() and restorebackup() functions to backup the squid 'acl' file when saving time restrictions, in order to prevent the restrictions being lost when proxy changes are made. This release also adds some basic Javascript validation to prevent unnecessary form submissions.

      Release Notes: This release includes Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Dutch translations. The Javadocs have been updated, and run scripts have been added to make running the application easier. This release also includes some minor i8ln fixes for the dialog boxes used.

        Release Notes: This release includes German and French translations, which have been made possible by the move to use property files to store details for GUI and text elements. This release also includes some minor bugfixes.

          Release Notes: This release includes a fix to proxy changes causing time restriction settings to be lost. This release also adds some basic Javascript form validation and removes some redundant code.
