spurtg

spurtg is an opensource (GPL) software package that renders realtime graphics based on input streamed from the soundcard. It has been used in the past in a live musical performance environment. It uses linux framebuffer (fbdev) for graphics and OSS for sound input.

Release Notes: Usability improvements such as config syntax checking and correct error handling, additional effects modules, refinements and optimizations of existing effects modules, further modularization to prepare for future enhancements, and additional documentation, especially regarding effects module programming, were added.

Matrox Error
There is a problem using /dev/fb1 on some matrox's (and maybe others?)

We are looking into the problem, next release should contain a fix, and maybe more debugging stuff to help find these things faster next time.
