Speaking Hangman

Speaking Hangman is an educational game to practice and expand your English and Spanish vocabularies. The game is designed for people of any age above 7 years. A free, downloadable version of Speaking Hangman features 2 levels of vocabulary, which are based on statistics about the most commonly-used words. At level 1 you will practice the 450 most common words in English or Spanish. At level 2 you will practice the 1,000 most common words. Level 3, available on-line, features over 7,000 words in English and over 8,000 in Spanish.

    Release Notes: After beta testing, major code cleanups and minor bugfixes were made.

      Release Notes: After every game a link to an online dictionary is shown, and the player may click to open it and check the definition of the word. English, Spanish, French, and Italian translations are available. The 15,000+ hangman words have been tested with English and Spanish lexicons, and misspellings have been corrected. Words inappropriate for children have been erased. Other minor bugs were fixed.
