Release Notes: The sous-marin GUST lists, tagfile script, and installer building script have been combined into more complete package releases. Release tarballs contain all the sous-marin elements for each Slackware release. Only GUST, maintained by another project, needs to be downloaded separately.
Release Notes: Two missing packages have been added to the minimized printing lists on both the sm and smx lists.
Release Notes: A missing dependency in the smaller kernel package stack was added to both the sm and smx lists.
Release Notes: Releases of sm-13.37-10 and smx-13.37-03. Fixes in the slackpkg optional stack. Both package lists have been tested in their new, much smaller installation.
Release Notes: The sous-marin core package list has been refined and reduced according to the progress made in the sous-marin-x list. It now consists of 41-70 packages with a minimal install of 191Mb. This install includes Vim, SSH, lynx, and ncftp on top of a pure Slackware install of a minimal but complete system.
Release Notes: The xserver version of sous-marin is now smaller (270Mb) than the console version (300Mb). Installation has a minimum of 88 packages for an X server, Vim, ncftp, lynx, SSH, and mailx. Adding a compiler, bootloader, slackpkg, wireless, a printer stack, and a smaller kernel brings it to only 116 packages.
Release Notes: The core package list now includes options for smaller kernels, minimal printing stacks, and the smallest possible email stack for local and remote SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 sessions.
Release Notes: This release adds kernel-headers and binutils to the compiler package list in the sm-13.37 list. They were already in the smx list.
Release Notes: Minor changes to the sous-marin script include adding a default mirror and fixing some typos.
Release Notes: sous-marin turtle: README and INSTALL files have been added. All documentation is in the new /README directory. Entering 'lynx' on the command line brings up an index of all docs and relevant Internet links. Standard networking has been introduced by adding Slackware's rc.inet1 and rc.inet1.conf. All non-standard run control commands have been moved to rc.local. Installation to a new partition by unpacking the cpio archive has been tested. Details for both the local and Slackware installer installation are in the INSTALL file.
