Release Notes: Fixed bug that slowed reading files on some PCs has been fixed. The ability for Sound-Editor to read Ogg and MP3 files has been added. Management of temporary files has been improved.

Release Notes: This release added a button for selecting and cutting away sections of a recording in the Sound Editor tool. The front panel appearance was improved. Time indicators are displayed when the selection sliders are moved.
Release Notes: The VU meters now come up by default when Sound-Recorder is invoked. It provides a visual check of the sound levels prior to starting a new recording. Some safety improvements were also added.
Release Notes: An optional volume level indicator was added to Sound-Recorder for checking levels prior to beginning a new recording. A menu was added to set options within the tool. In Sound-Editor, the play-rate indicator and plot units were improved.
Release Notes: Automatic volume limiting was added to the Sound-Editor so as to avoid clipping. This is especially useful for saving high dynamic-range recordings, such as speech when volume is raised too high. A slider was added for the volume adjustment window. It now shows volume change in dB or linear, depending on the graph selected. The net-change in both linear and dB is always displayed. A button was added to automatically set volume to the maximum level without clipping. The makefile was fixed to compile both programs.
Release Notes: Options were added to SoundRec for delaying the start of recording and for limiting the total duration of all recordings. Options were also added to automatically run user specified filter-programs or scripts on each recorded file, as well as to set file sequence numbers to specified ranges.
