Release Notes: It is now possible to export output as PDFs and images if an export plug-in installed. Scatter plots can have more than one series e.g. different colored dots on the same plot. You can now sort by individual columns within a data display report table. Report tables of summary statistics show measures across columns instead of down rows. The demo tables displayed when configuring report tables use real data instead of random data whenever practical. IQR (Inter-Quartile Range) was added to the Row Stats Table. It is now possible to do a box plot of a single variable (not requiring a variable for it to be 'By').
Release Notes: Can import tab-delimited data. More options for attractive charts and reports. Three new themes are available: sky, prestige (screen), and prestige (print). Better support for automation (i.e. headless, running without a GUI), especially in an international context. Exporting to spreadsheet now relies on a more robust code library (xlwt). Easy to select or deselect many row stats measures at once. Faster opening in many cases.
Release Notes: This release can export results as high-resolution images (PNG), as PDFs, and as tabular output as spreadsheets without needing plugin extensions (this doesn't work for Macs, currently), can export data tables to a spreadsheet without needing a plugin extension, and can backup SOFA data and settings without needing a plugin extension. Variable details content (vdt files) is now sorted, which makes it much easier to read and search for items when checking things.
Release Notes: Scatterplots now have an option for displaying a regression line with slope and intercept details. The export output plug-in (a proprietary add-on) now has an option for exporting tabular data to spreadsheet. Positioning of the legend in scatterplots made by matplotlib was improved. The algorithm for getting optimal min and max axis values was tweaked and is now more sensible when there is no variation.
Release Notes: A cleaner interface for viewing, saving, and exporting output. Data export to the spreadsheet plug-in now automatically exports as CSV as well as .xls. Data importing copes with spaces at the end of dates: trailing spaces are removed and the value is treated properly as a date.
Release Notes: This release adds simplified access to data for most users. SOFA now only displays a list of data tables (instead of showing both a list of databases and tables) unless there are multiple databases to choose from. For most users, the only database will be the default database SOFA uses to store imported or hand-entered data. Slovenian support has been added.
