Release Notes: This is a major upgrade, despite the minor change in version number. It features a completely rewritten administration area. A new database interface was added to make database control easier and friendlier. A new automatic "templating" system was added. Some minor bugs were fixed.

Release Notes: A security hole was exposed in version 0.8.3b, where db settings were moved to soda.cfg for minimization of the installation process. This soda.cfg file is a plain text file, available to view by any browser, thus enabling people to read usernames and passwords to mysql easily. This was quickly fixed by renaming the file to soda.cfg.php, so that PHP would interpret it.

Release Notes: This version mainly has changes made as the result of installing 0.8.3 on a variety of systems. There is a new "GMT Offset" setting which makes dates appear in the wanted timezone and not only in the server's. Thus, date handling have been changed in general, including the way dates are displayed and stored. The Path setting has been removed, as it can be calculated by the server automatically. Database settings have been moved to soda.cfg; no file should be edited at install time anymore. install.php was improved to work well in first installations too.

Thank you very much for taking interest in the system ;) I'm very flattered.

Unfortunately, due to personal lack of time and code obsolescence, I have decided to kill the project some time ago. I don't believe I'll ever get back to working on it since the code is very old and there is no true request.
I can say that there were plans for translating the system to different languages, and I believe that if someone takes over this project, it could be done eventually. I'll be happy to help anyway I can.

        Best Regards,
