Smb4K is a SMB and CIFS (Windows) share browser for KDE. It uses the Samba software suite to access the SMB and CIFS shares of the local network neighborhood. Its purpose is to provide a program that's easy to use and has as many features as possible.

Release Notes: The "Invalid command: net rap share list" error was fixed. The smb4k_sudowriter utility program was improved. The version has been bumped to 0.4.
Release Notes: This maintenance release fixes a serious problem with smb4k_sudowriter and Qt 4.7 where /etc/sudoers was left with wrong file permissions after writing to it, breaking sudo system-wide.
Release Notes: UNC paths with trailing slashes are now handled, which is required for the cifs-utils package under Linux. Crashes in Smb4KSystemTray::slotSetupSharesMenu() and Smb4KScanner::scanForWorkgroupMembers() were fixed.
Release Notes: The broken backported smb4k_umount binary was replaced with a fixed one from the 0.10 branch. This way you won't get the "unknown argument" errors anymore.
Release Notes: Include files are no longer installed. The Portuguese translation was updated. A problem with shares that have no comment was fixed. Listing of shares when a "creating lame ..." message appears on stderr was fixed. smb4k_umount was backported from SVN HEAD. Under non-FreeBSD operating systems, it falls back to umount if umount.cifs can not be found. The check for mount and umount binaries was removed from Smb4KCore::searchPrograms().
