Small Linux

Small Linux is is a micro distribution of Linux for Intel machines that will run on a system with as little as 3 megs of RAM. It comes on 2 or 3 diskettes, can be installed on small hard drives, and is designed to work with tinyX, slip, and plip.

    Release Notes: Use of Busybox, addition of route and ifconfig, and the boot disk has additional utilities. A new Unix demo script was added for Unix newbies to see what is on Small Linux. Linux can boot with a ramdisk in 4M RAM, and a new beta install script was added for hard drive installation.

        Release Notes: This version uses asmutils. ls colors are fixed. more utilities on root disk. Support disk also available. Uses Linux kernel version 2.0.0
