    Release Notes: In this release, kernel 2.4.25 with alsa 1.0.2c was added, along with KDE 3.2 stable, a script to copy and install SLAX to flashdisk or hard disk, a ./tools/moduse script to use module in Live filesystem on the fly, a tools/modinsert script to insert downloaded modules to LiveCD ISO, a fileswap script to create a temporary file on the disk and use it as swap, and CUPS printing.

      Release Notes: SLAX is now based on version 3.0.25 of the linux live scripts. This version features KDE 3.2beta2 and KOffice 1.3rc2, and uses overlay filesystem (ovlfs) to make the CD and the whole root filesystem pseudo-writable. More enhancements: Floppy automounting was added. KDE language support was added for Czech (cs), German (de), Brazilian (pt_BR), and French (fr). HorizSync was modified in the X config file in an attempt to get a better display. Mouse detection was enhanced. The monkeyd httpd server was added with its home in /root/public/www. The "nopcmcia" kernel parameter was added.

        Release Notes: Kernel 2.4.22 (with XFS support and ALSA drivers) has been added, so many more network and sound cards are supported now. This release adds CUPS for printing, mplayer 1.0pre1, and fluxbox 0.9.6pre1, and removes apache, PHP, and MySQL. proftpd and configsave/configrestore have been fixed.

          Release Notes: This release now includes the 2.4.21 kernel, KDE 3.1.3, mplayer 0.91, kopete 0.71, and k3b 0.9. initrd now only uses 13 MB for the RAM disk, Apache, PHP, MySQL, mutt, procmail, and APM are started automatically, and dbdiff (configsave) was rewritten for improved speed.

              Release Notes: This release added bdiff, dbdiff, xdos (a DOSEMU and FreeDOS suite), the Samba client and smbmount, nfsutils, rdist, rsync, nmap, BitchX, the joe, jove, and jed editors, the "most" filter, the Fluxbox window manager, raidtools, jfsutils, reiserfsprogs, xfsprogs, umsdos-progs, and zoneinfo. It is now possible to install your own packages in /usr/local and to copy the CD to hard disk. Netscape and some useless KDE themes were removed. Executables are now compressed with the upx packer.

                Release Notes: hotplug 2003_05_01 was added. Some fixes were made in the /etc directory. The bootprompt now waits 3 seconds (hold shift when booting). tagfiles for installing Slackware are now included in the devel scripts. The /boot directory is no longer included as a CRAM image, since it's not necessary.

                  Release Notes: The ISO image fits the 190MB CD-RW medium now. There are new mouse cursors for Xwindows. KDE 3.1.2 , Kopete 0.6.2 (a lot of bugs fixed), a flag for international keyboard support under KDE, the ability to run something automatically after booting (autoexec), and the Quanta HTML and PHP WYSIWYG editor have been added. The ramdisk takes 22 MB now to raise free ramdisk space. Mplayer has been recompiled for CPU autodetection. Some 75dpi international fonts have been removed, as has emacs.

                    Release Notes: This release adds KOffice 1.2.1, adds the ability to pass some kernel parameters during boot (hold down Shift), and allows changing of the keyboard layout in KDE (multi-language keyboard).

                      Release Notes: This release has minor bugfixes with USB mouse detection. It adds KDE 3.1.1, k3b (a CD burning GUI for KDE), and Netscape 7.02. All development packages (the /d directory and xfree86-devel) have been removed.
