    Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. FAT partitions should be mounted properly now, and X fonts are finally configured correctly to display all international letters. The slax-install graphical program was fixed and heavily tested this time.

      Release Notes: This release includes Linux 2.6 with Unionfs, KDE 3.4 with KOffice, and X.Org 6.8.2. Most importantly, the webconfig feature was added, removing the need to save changes to a medium such as a floppy disk.

        Release Notes: This release contains a new SquashFS filesystem providing better compression and fastest decompression, and a UnionFS filesystem to overmount read-only data in pseudo read-write mode. This release is a console-based version only, and is a technology preview of some upcoming significant changes. Regular users are advised to use the full version.

          Release Notes: This version contains KDE 3.3.1 and X.org 6.8.1. A new user called guest was added, and a new boot parameter home= was implemented.

            Release Notes: Linux kernel 2.4.28-pre2 with SATA (libsata) support compiled in was added. KDE 3.3.0 and K3B 0.11.14 were added. The file cheatcodes.txt was included in the CD's root directory. The GUI script was fixed to better handle X auto-configuration. The slax-install script was fixed.

              Release Notes: This release adds kernel 2.4.27-pre3 with SATA support, aslax-install script, and a "GUI" boot option to skip textmode login and autostart X with KDE. There is also a DEVELOPMENT module, allowing sourcecode to be compiled. XFree was replaced by X.org.

                Release Notes: This release fixed xconf, so the mouse should finaly work. DBdiff (configsave) was modified to skip mounted partitions (or Samba shares), and tohd, fromhd, and server boot options were added. gpart, a tool for guessing PC-type hard disk partitions was included. Network services are no longer started automatically at bootup due to security issues, and a simple firewall is activated to disallow all incoming connections. Modules were added for Czech, Polish, Brazillian, Italian, French, and German.

                  Release Notes: X11 locales are no longer removed. DOC_MULTILANG documentation that describes how to create a module with your language was included. KDE 3.2.2 with QT 3.3.2 and KOffice 1.3.1 were added, and .inputrc was modified to enable Czech, Russian, and all other keymaps in bash. The Russian (and probably some other) fonts were fixed in KDE, and the create_bootdisk.sh script for making bootable USB flash disks was fixed. The mouseproto, mousedev, and wheelmouse boot options were also fixed.

                    Release Notes: This release added smb4k (a Samba share browser for KDE), better font and sound handling in KDE, kernel 2.4.26, Netscape plugins 7.1, and parted. X can now handle three mice in parallel. The eject boot parameter was fixed along with the create_bootdisk.sh script (lilo no longer stores MBR backups). memtest and ide-scsi module loading were also fixed.

                      Release Notes: This release added Xfree 4.4.0, KDE 3.2.1, floppy tools, K3B 0.11.9, and an 845patch boot option for Intel's i845G chipset. The lang= functionality was removed and a load=... boot option that loads all specified modules from the /optional/ directory (eg. load=wine,xmms,lang_fr) was implemented. smbmount was fixed, as were FTP upload directory permissions.
