Typically around 6GB for a full install but you can skinny that down easily by just installing only what you need.

If you look at the Slackware-HOWTO you'll see a section "3. Slackware Space Requirements" that has approximate space required for each set.

The best, best father and great sons...
Slackware is not only the best, but it is also the best father for many great projects around the world, like Slax, GoblinX, Mutagenix and gNOX, livecds, and some other distros...

It is very important to say that Slackware allows almost everything to an user... Great distro...

I've never use other... only Slackware...

10.1
I am under slackware 10.0 since december 2003. I was introduced to linux with Red Hat 9, I have used this distro for 6 month, than I have installed myself the holy slackware 10. I will soon install the great 10.1. Thank you mister Patrick Volkerding for making such a great distribution.

If it it'S not stable, it's not slackware!!!

It's mid-Q1, 2005 now, more than a year and a half

since the last msg here. So here's mine:

Slackware-10.1 (and ISO) are available.

I've been a Slackware-User since 1994; I flirted

with others, sure, but i went back.

The answer to the oft-asked "which is the best

distro to use?" I can only reply, "It's the one

that you know best!" I know Slackware - to install

it blind-folded, with two arms behind my back and a

dead kbd! :) Oh, and while I sleep too.

Looking for a distro? Try Slackware, you have

nothing to lose but your old distro. (save your

unique files first!) And as Pat signs all his

notes to us who read them: "Enjoy!"
