SL-POS

SL-POS is a patch that adds significant point of sale and retail management capabilities to SQL-Ledger. Current features include several ways of tracking till cash drawers, online till closing routines, rudimentary portable data terminal integration, POS hardware support (Pole displays, receipt printers, cash drawers), and more. It is commercially supported.

Release Notes: Several bugs with closing tills in cashier-till mode were fixed. The inventory activity report was greatly enhanced. This release is still built against SQL-Ledger 2.4.12 and is likely to be the last release built against this version.

Release Notes: This release features a vastly simplified till closing process, inventory activity reports, a number of bugfixes, and a few performance enhancements. This may be the last release candidate before the stable release.

Release Notes: Corrects over/under till tracking issues, a race condition relating to the opening of a till preventing a receipt from printing, and the check ID alert not showing up when the product is selected from a list. Also, it is built against SQL-Ledger 2.4.12 instead of 2.4.7 due to other POS-related fixes applied since then.

Release Notes: The build system was updated to make applying the patch easier. Several severe bugs relating to till closing were fixed. Code was added to reset tills to 0 in case of an error. Support for importing AP invoices from a portable data terminal was added.

This Project is Deprecated
While the source code of this project is still available, it has been merged with LedgerSMB in order to provide better security and data integrity. 1.2.0 will be the first release to include the code from this project.
