Release Notes: IE7 is supported. Form spam abuse is prevented with CAPTCHA, blacklists, etc. Integration with Snipshot.com was added for image editing. Coral cache is used for traffic surge protection. File download statistics are available. The cache is automatically flushed to keep the site cache in sync. Google Maps and Google Site Maps were integrated. Many user interface improvements were made. SEO improvements were done, including more control over URLs. Many bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: This is the first release to feature preliminary PHP 5 support, with full PHP 5 support being scheduled for 5.0. It improves support for additional Web server configurations, including CGI-mode, FastCGI, and Microsoft IIS. Additional bugfixes include an increase in the maximum size of a Web page's contents, allowing for a wider range of uses for the system, improvements to the SSL capabilities, allowing forced SSL usage on a per-screen basis in any Sitellite module, and fixes for additional user interface and API inconsistencies and other minor bugs.
Release Notes: A cache manager was for easier management of caching behavior. An activity log was added for admins to see exactly who did what and when. The workflow internals and workflow management interface were revamped, allowing for more advanced workflow scenarios. User privileges were refined for even greater access control restrictions. Member services were improved, providing out-of-the-box member portal/extranet capabilitites. A new template manager provides easier Web site design control as well as built-in tools for standards compliance testing, including WAI and Section 508 testing. Hundreds of minor feature improvements were made.
Release Notes: This release features many bugfixes, a new file manager with version control, an integrated search, and file indexing (via SiteSearch add-on, which now supports the following file types: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, vCard, iCal, RTF, HTML, XML, MP3, and Photoshop files). This version also adds many new API methods, new classes, and documentation improvements. The Rex versioning system now handles renaming more effectively, and the Rex collection definition file format has many new options to make it much more flexible for creating custom data types.
