Release Notes: Help files were updated to contain illustrating figures (bwdist and skel). A new and very useful imshow option was added for using an external viewer. Edilate was implemented with a very fast cutting edge exact Euclidean propagation algorithm. bwdist was augmented with a max_dist option to compute the EDT up to a maximum distance. Many other changes were made.

Release Notes: This release adds a new function color_classify for color recognition and a new function imhist for plotting and computing histograms tailored for images.

Release Notes: This version provides a new "thin" (standard Zhang-Suen thinning) implemented in C, a new gray_imread (simply to read every image as grayscale) man page, some changes to improfile, a man page for perim (shape perimeter), and new example figures. The development series now requires Animal 0.5.0.

Release Notes: In this version there was a bug fixed in minmax, there is a new GUI demo, sipdemo is now called by "exec(SIPDEMO)", there is a new imvariance (image local variance), a new imphase (phase calculation (useful for interferometry)), a new unwrapp (phase unwrapping by path following, used in interferometry/ photonics), loader.sce now displays SIP version, and there are manpage fixes.

Release Notes: A "hello_sip" example function was added so new developers learn quickly how to add a new C-language routine to SIP. A help page was written for those interested in this.

Release Notes: An early implementation of multiscale fractal dimension was added.
