Release Notes: Performance has been greatly improved by a factor of 10 in some cases. Media play is supported on Windows platforms. Statistical pauses emulate real user behavior. TCP/TLS has been fixed on Windows platforms. The ability to use SIPp as an open loop generator has been added. The ability to automatically increase the call rate at specific intervals (benchmarking) has been added. There are over 75 other bugfixes and improvements.

Release Notes: This release adds support for Digest/AKA authentication for IMS, timeout on receive, many enhancements for RTP play with support for audio+video RTP streams, the return of the Win32 version, support for SIP/TDM maps, and call_id string customization.

Release Notes: This release added IPv6 support for the pcapplay feature, AMD64 processors, the ability to reconnect to TCP or TLS connections, enhanced support for strict record routing (tested with SER proxy), and many bugfixes. This release has been tested successfully with up to 1100 simultaneous G711a VoIP calls.

Release Notes: A new pcap play feature was added to send RTP streams (voice and RFC2833 DTMFs). A new "nop" command was added to execute actions only. The Windows/Cygwin version has returned. Multi-socket mode in UDP was fixed. Several other bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: Outgoing TCP congestion under stress was fixed. display of unexpected messages during pause and display of calls in a pause state was added. Random variable pauses were added. The performance capabilities were fine tuned. Support for X509 CRLs was added. Many bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: Support for the SIP short form, a new [cseq] keyword, a race_rtt command for dumping all response times in a CSV file that can be parsed using "Octave", a max_socket option for sharing opened TCP/TLS sockets, a new "auth_uri" command line parameter, basic support for RFC3262 (PRACK), and -tls_cert and -tls_key options for providing TLS certificate and key files were added. Video RTP echo was added (using -mp port + 2 port) along with a new [branch] keyword. The regexp embedded scenario now has a sub-expression example. Several bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: This release adds support for IPv6, TLS, authentication, conditional branching in scenarios, more actions (log, system exec, abort call), automatic Content-Length computation, and sub-expressions in regular expressions. It is available both as source tarball and a Win32 installer.

Release Notes: Calls that timeout are logged. The PID is used in the name of the CSV stat file. Screens are dumped to a file when the SIGUSR2 signal is received. The process PID was added to trace files names. A timestamp was added in SIP message traces. The statistics on unexpected messages for an existing call and the statistics on unexpected messages for a non-existing call are now distinguished. Minor bugfixes were made.

Release Notes: An exit code depending on call result was added. Support was added for SunOS, FreeBSD, and Win32. An installer is available for Win32. New handling was implemented for unexpected messages and errors (4XX, 5XX) with proper behavior. sipp_errors.log and sipp_messages.log are now dependent on the scenario name. A check is done to ensure that a message received is actually a SIP message. An -rp option was added to allow one to have n calls every m milliseconds. A final dump in the statistics file when quitting SIPp was added. Double CRLF issues were fixed.

Release Notes: This release adds external input file support. Each call can now be different using data from an external CSV formatted file. Forced remote sending address was added. Until now, Sipp was always responding using the same IP socket when it received a message in server mode. This caused problems with SIP proxy testing. This address can now be forced with a parameter (-rsa) in the command line.
