SingIt Lyric Displayer

The SingIt Lyric Displayer is a program to display formatted lyrics, including tagged text, CD+G, and id3v2xx lyrics. It consists of several displayers, an integrated editor, query, and karaoke tools. It supports various players, such as XMMS, Noatun, and Rhythmbox.

    Release Notes: This release adds hyphenation support and Audacious integration, as XMMS isn't available anymore in the latest Debian/Ubuntu distributions. People using amarok should try this release, as the amarok plugin was updated and the lyrics should be better synchronized now.

      Release Notes: The focus of this release is the revamped query interface (GUI and backend). It is finally based on plugins, and this release includes three usable plugins: Lyrc (, Leo's Lyrics (, and Lyrix v2 DB ( Nothing else of note was done.

        Release Notes: This release has cleanups all over the place. Particularly, it should fix the NPTL freezing bugs. A new query infrastructure was started. The new visible features are an amaroK input plugin and better time approximation code for rhythmbox.

          Release Notes: The XMMS input plugin and the internal socket code were rewritten using GIOChannels, which hopefully corrects most of the XMMS bugs. The Debian packaging subdirectory was migrated to the new program layout.

            Release Notes: This release adds preliminary gtk-doc and doxygen support to ease future development. Otherwise it doesn't contain any user-visible changes, except for small bugfixes all over the reorganized source tree.
