SimBlog

Simblog aims to be one of the most easy-to-use and lightweight blogging platforms. It emphasizes user experience, workflow, and ease of use without neglecting usability and extensibility. It will take full advantage of what HTML5 and CSS3 have to offer without delving too deeply into experimental features. It is built on its own lightweight framework, which allows a high degree of extensibility and modularity for your blog. It uses Smarty as a templating engine (which also provides a caching mechanism), jQuery and Kendo UI for frontend design, and MySQL as a database.

Simblog.org is online ! 09 Nov 2012 17:14

After a long time of being offline (mostly because I had nothing to do on it) our web site is finally online. You can visit us at http://www.simblog.org . This domain had a tumultuous past, it was originally hosted on a different machine. Then the ISP of the server had changed which gave us a dynamic ip. Now it's hosted on a different machine which is guaranteed to be online and have a static IP. This is just a placeholder page until we get more things straighten (like the new default skin called Crayon). The finishing of this default skin will mark the v0.2 milestone.
