Release Notes: This is a routine evolutionary step from 3.1.0 alpha, being more stable and efficient. If 3.1.0 alpha was not performing as you expected, upgrading is highly recommended.
Release Notes: alpha WSDL is upgraded from 1.0 to 1.1, implementing the import statement and more complete support of XML schema constructs. The XSLT transform generator that parses WSDL responses has been extended. A great example of such WSDL is NCBI E-tools.An auto update system has been implemented, able to upgrade only modified files and changed parts of archives (also changed parts of the source code). This will allow you to add minor enhancements and fix smaller bugs immediately, without waiting for the ordinary new version release.
Release Notes: Sight now supports workflows, containing loops, and confluences. A cross-platform implementation of the WSDL-compatible protocol allows you to integrate Web services using this way of communication. The whole Sight workflow now can be converted into a single Sight agent. Such combined agents are valuable not just as an “elementary units” in more complicated workflows, but also as simply usable modules for Java programmers. Sight provides a “mini environment” to test and create data filters based on Java regular expressions. There is an improved user environment and many smaller enhancements.
