Shutter is a feature-rich screenshot program. You can take a screenshot of a specific area, window, your whole screen, or even a Web site, apply different effects to it, draw on it to highlight points, and then upload to an image hosting site, all within one window.

Release Notes: This is mostly a bugfix release, but it also adds two useful new features. With this version one of the oldest bugs will be fixed.

Release Notes: LibUnique is now used to prevent opening more than one instance of Shutter and to allow messages to be sent to Shutter from a command shell. A feature to capture the last active window was added. A workaround was added to allow Shutter to correctly capture window decorations with unusual shapes (such as rounded corners). Shutter can now resize a window before capturing it and return it to its original size immediately afterward. Startup behavior can now be adjusted through the preferences. The EXIF orientation flag is now respected. It is now possible to export files to PostScript. Shutter is now fully compatible with Unity (and its global menu). Automatic file saving can be disabled to avoid cluttering the user's home directory.
