Short URL Script allows you to have a URL shortening service under your own domain. The script can create shorter URLs that do not break in email messages. As a site owner, you can use the script for managing downloads, masking URLs, and keeping track of how many times a link has been clicked.

Release Notes: This version comes with a new design of both the front end and the admin area. Another new feature is the spam and phishing protection. The redirection was also improved. Besides the 301 HTTP redirect, there is now a top bar mode and a meta refresh mode. The latter shows some statistics, the long URL, and a stop button.

Release Notes: A Simple API allows third party tools create short URLs. There is a Twitter bookmarklet that redirects the short URL directly to Twitter. URL length statistics: tells you how long the URL was before the shortening and how long it is afterwards, and the trailing slash is removed by default.
