shoepolish is a program that optimizes file content for space and bandwidth reduction. One could use this on either a private file collection to save drive space or on a live Web site to reduce bandwidth costs.

    Release Notes: Basic gzip and gunzip support, and support for zip recompression via advzip. JS optimization was moved to the AGGRO option. Routines were rewritten to use separate arrays of comparable filetypes. It was made easier to change the script to work on a non-Windows system.
