Release Notes: a new --dssslproc option was added as a better synonym for --jade, which is now deprecated. Man pages were written for runjade and rlatex.
Release Notes: This version fixes a bug introduced in 0.99.9 that prevented specification of a local stylesheet on command-line.
Release Notes: Openjade correctly locates included entities, especially when converting to HTML. Parsing of the --style option is more robust.
Release Notes: Error-propagation was fixed so that a jade error stops the run as expected. The shipped SGML catalog has been updated. The jade call that extracts docclass from docbook documents was not shown in trace mode.
Release Notes: The second release-candidate for sgml2x 1.0.0 fixes the search procedure for style definitions, which was only finding definitions in the old location. It also now ignores editor, package management backups, and other cruft in style-definition dirs, and fixes signal handling in the runjade wrapper, removing the annoying message. conf file transitions in the Debian package are now also handled.
Release Notes: A bugfix was made for a huge problem that prevented printable stylesheet from working when referring to relative-path images. This was worked around by not using a temporary directory any more. New features include a new dssslproc config file and declarations of stylesheet inheritance. Style definitions are now in a styles/ subdirectory to make room for dssslproc and future additions.
Release Notes: Conversion to printable output only worked when run from the sgml2x source tree, and the --local= option was broken.
Release Notes: Pollution with temporary files was eliminated. PDF bookmarks are now automatically produced. DocBook stylesheets can now be used fully without passing extra flags. Errors which are not completely reported by (open)jade are now caught. Openjade is used by default. Symbolic names may now be used for verbosity levels. The HTML directories have been renamed to *-html instead of *.html.
Release Notes: "prefix" support was added in order to select the installation location (sgml2x is installed in /usr/local by default). The docclass-based selection of a default stylesheet was fixed.
Release Notes: The preferred way to name converters is now like docbook-2-pdf instead of docbook2pdf, which is already used by docbook-utils. It should now work much better with documents other than DocBook articles.
