sformat

Sformat allows you to format, partition, analyze, and repair SCSI disks. Sformat is the first SCSI disk formatting utility for SunOS/Solaris. It should run on many other OSes, but it will do so without the ability to manage partitions.

    Release Notes: Now using the library version of libscg (in fact sformat was the origin for libscg in 1986). Enhanced portability. Unified SCSI related command line options with cdrecord.

    Agreed with tschrock; SCSI drives are rare to find, but this is still a great way to back up your computer and save money on <a href="http://www.10over8.com">computer repair</a>. I never would have known about this hadn't I read this article, so thanks!

    This could be handy
    We don't see too many SCSI drives anymore in our computer repair shopw in Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska, but for the ones we do see this could be very handy!
