serel - fast boot software

serel is a utility that helps computers to boot faster by adding synchronization and integrity- checking to the operating system's "service startup" phase, allowing services to be started in parallel. The software supports the visualization of services, dependencies, and timings.

    Release Notes: This release contains a number of new (minor) features. A new 'late' property allows a service to start after all services with dependencies. serel boot can now be toggled on/off by typing 'serel' on the commandline of the boot loader, and default dependencies for dhcp and wine have been added.

      Release Notes: This release is primarily a bugfix release. New (minor) features include draft man pages and the ability to retain a fast boot in the presence of buggy dependency-comments inside boot scripts.
