Release Notes: The interface was cleaned up. A new color scheme was added. The atrocious style-sheet usage was fixed. The modeless bug in generating the categorey menu was fixed. set_up.pl now searches httpd.conf for user/group settings. The following files should be replaced for an upgrade: exp, sem_guide.html, and (optionally) set_up.pl.
Release Notes: A summary of expenses and income difference is now shown in the sidebar. A general code clean-up was done.
Release Notes: Negative amounts are now permitted. Cents (.00) are no longer compulsory, due to currency differences in some countries. The admin can now set up initial "income" categories. Amounts larger than 9999 are now formatted with commas (like "10,000"). Search criteria are now accumulative (OR). Those who are upgrading should replace the "exp", "exp_admin", and "sem_guide.html" files.
Release Notes: Descriptions can now be searched for keywords, using AND & NOT variables. General code cleanups were made, and an upgrade was done by replacing "exp" and "sem_guide.html".
Release Notes: Set-up was made easier via a "set_up.pl" script. The program should now work under Linux (with less pain configuring permission and user/groups).
Release Notes: Categories can now be transferred, which could allow all of "lunch" to be changed to a more generic "food" category. This allows you to do so without the pain of hand editing. A general code cleanup was made to "exp".
Release Notes: The exp_admin interface has been cleaned up. To upgrade, replace the "exp_admin" script.
Release Notes: Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly averages can now be calculated via the sort bar. A rough user manual has been added. Code cleanups were made. Upgrades were also done by replacing the "exp" script and adding the "sem_guide.html" to the same directory.
Release Notes: Fixed the flip_sort_order bug, cleaned up the code, and added more specific date sorting which is not limited to whole month periods. To upgrade, only the "exp" and "exp_admin" scripts need be replaced.
Release Notes: With this release, the income can be included, but it is simple, and there is no comparing with expenses. This release cleans up subroutines and removes unnecessary subs, and fixes an empty info-field bug (not perfect, but it works), and a change-pass bug in exp (it accepted the match of two empty new passwords). This version is compatible with previous databases; replace the old "exp" script with the new one.
