Seccheck is a feature rich, modular, host-level security checker for Solaris 10. Easily expandable with customised modules, Seccheck produces highly detailed reports based around known and published security best-practices and guidelines. It also produces recommendations on how to fix flagged security issues.

      Release Notes: Bugfixes were made in shell detection logic, for a typo in SAMBA recommendations, and in the use of "printf" instead of "echo" in the authlog recommendation.

        Release Notes: Minor problems were fixed regarding crontab group ownership, syslog checks, the default module directory, and cron allow/deny files.

          Release Notes: The code has been modified so that RETRIES < 5 in /etc/default/login are not flagged as a warning. More checks have been added around services. A condition has been added to locked account checks so that LK is ok where NL is "recommended".
