SEA arc

This is a port of SEA arc from MS-DOS. It creates, modifies, and extracts from .arc files using the old Crunch, Squash, and Squeeze compression methods. It runs on most Unix/POSIX systems as well as mainframes and other microcomputers.

Release Notes: Some minor cleanup to silence warnings from gcc, and a more complete fix for the insecure temporary file creation. You can ignore the linker warnings about mktemp; all of its uses have been secured.

    It hasn't seen many updates since about 1999, but the CVS tree on sourceforge is up to date and has a few fixes that this release doesn't have...
