Release Notes: Support for PM/Myrinet2XP devices and X11 relay has been restored. This release adds checkpointing, autoconfiguration, and dynamic reconfiguration. It eliminates the need for kernel patching through the use of modules. There are many bugfixes.


Release Notes: This release adds support for Linux 2.6.11. A patchless PM/Ethernet driver has been introduced. Standard pipes and environment variables are handled correctly. Experimental support for Infiniband has been introduced. There are other minor bugfixes.


Release Notes: PathScale compiler can now be used as a backend compiler. PBS and sctop now work on the IA64. Checkpoint/restart and C++ now work on AMD64. Binary compatibility now works correctly with versions 5.2 upwards, except for 5.8.1. truncate() and ftruncate() now work.
