Release Notes: Text display on GTK+ with Pango 1.8 was fixed. The C++ lexer now continues styling over line end characters for preprocessor lines and line comments, allowing the use of the eolfilled style on these elements. Keywords are highlighted within line doc comments. A new Ruby lexer handles some here-documents, %-quoted-strings, symbols, @-, @@-, and $-prefixed variables, pod-like sections, etc.

Release Notes: Headers were changed to lessen the likelihood and impact of name clashes with platform definitions. Word selection and navigation now treats sequences of punctuation as words and behaves in a similar way to other editors. Compilation now succeeds with more configurations of gcc.
