Release Notes: This release corrects serious bugs causing the Japanese and Polish localizations to fail and the Mac OS X version to fail under Mac OS X 10.6.8 following Apple's last update. All portability issues with Mac OS X (both 10.5 and 10.6) should be fixed.

    Release Notes: A new dockable diagram editor (xcos), a new dockable text editor (xpad), several other changes, and many bugfixes.

      Release Notes: New localizations were added for German, Spanish, and others. A new module has been created to highlight the possibility to call the Scilab engine from other languages. See call_scilab. The help and test systems have been improved. A lot of bugs have been fixed.

      Release Notes: A lot of improvements in the graphics have been made. A huge number of bugs have been fixed. Some new functionality have been added. The documentation is now fully converted to DocBook. Scicos (the Simulink-like part) has improved.

      Release Notes: Various bugs have been corrected. Some corrected bugs are related to internationalization, others to Java.

      Release Notes: Some changes related to documentation were made. Some obsolete stuff has been removed. Some bugs have been corrected.

      Release Notes: Scilab is now OpenSource (under the CeCILL license). The GUI has been completely rewritten in Java. There is a new documentation viewer based upon DocBook. There are many other changes.

      No changes have been submitted for this release.

      Release Notes: There is a new Java interface for calling Scilab, and the Tcl interface was rewritten. A new Scilab debugging tool was added, and Scipad editor was improved. There is a new graphics property editor, new matlab-like plot and surf functions, and Scicos was improved. Many functions are now more efficient. The Matlab translator was improved. There are new functions to read from Excel and many other new routines. The source code compiles under 64-bit architectures. The ATLAS library was integrated under Windows, improving performance.

      Release Notes: There is a new interface to call Scilab from Java. The TCL interface has been totally rewritten. There is an improved Scipad editor, a new debugger, major graphics improvements, major Scicos improvements, improved efficiency of sparse operators, improved matlab2sci translator, new import of Excel files, and more. The source compiles on 64-bit architectures, and the Windows version has been optimized.
