Release Notes: This release adds a cache for X properties to minimize server roundtrips, an "OPTIONS" file describing the variables that may be customized, support for Xft fonts, color objects which store alpha as well as rgb data, some drawing optimizations (to not reinstall a frame shape at each redraw and to turn off graphics exposures in all contexts), support for two dimensional workspace layouts and edge flipping, support useful parts of the 1.1 NET WM spec, and translation updates. It fixes some bugs/omissions in support for the 1.0 spec (e.g., "_NET_WORKAREA") and various other bugs.
Release Notes: The release includes an updated French translation, feature enhancements, and a few bugfixes.
