Release Notes: The savIRC handbook has been updated and converted to docbook. The source code has begun to be documented with ROBOdoc. A checkbox to hide automatic serverpings was added. /disconnect now stops autoreconnect. Chunks of text are broken into 400 chars or less and will be sent with a delay to prevent flooding. An alternate nick is used if the one tried is erroneous on the current ircd.


Release Notes: Faster GUI handling, better multi-server support, a new DCC subsystem, a new Channel Settings window, a text highlighter, better external IP detection, desktop session support, Bluefish encryption, and support for SSL servers.


Release Notes: This release merges the Unix and Windows code bases into one generic tree. Bugs are fixed in DCC, GUI, and user commands. New features: Unicode support, multilanguage support (currently only English is provided), halfop user status support, and more IRC commands are exposed to the user.


Release Notes: Red highlighting for window buttons has been fixed. Buttons of the same network are grouped. New events for DCC, support for the 330 Undernet numeric, and support for the 328 Dalnet numeric have been added. Percentage in DCC transfers of big (>500Mb) files has been fixed. The way scripting variables are handled has been changed. There are many GUI improvements.


Release Notes: This release adds support for multiple configuration, fixes resume requests, improves passive DCCs, supports backgrounds in a new way, improves the GUI, and autoaccepts DCCs with an autoaccept list.

Release Notes: This release remebers positions for all windows. mIRC color number 99 has been fixed. The /names command has been fixed so that the userlist gets displayed properly in the status window. A timer for the DCC transfers, a minimize window option for DCC send, a pane widget for channel windows, a "limit buffer" feature, and a /quit command have been added. The "grab" problem that was getting the scrollbar stuck in the script center has been solved. There are many other GUI improvements.


Release Notes: A new identification (identd) server that listens on the given port (defaulted to 113) and can work asynchronously, new documentation on the notebook and labeled frame widgets, a new configuration GUI where everything is displayed with an iconed tree widget, an improved script center that can now load/unload scripts, and fixes for some Windows bugs and other braces-related bugs were added.


Release Notes: A multiple document interface (MDI) was implemented. Each IRC window is now a real indipendent window that can be moved, resized, iconified, and maximized within the main window. Support was added for channel CTCPs. Many other GUI changes were made. A few config options were added. The code was greatly improved, and the client seems to run faster. The Tcl "join" command was renamed to "_join" to prevent clashing with the native "join" command in Tcl.


Release Notes: Channels topic widgets now support colors and display topics with mIRC colors, display of channel topic is now optional, "preview text" option added, mIRC color formatting improved, information about users is displayed in a (sortable) multi-column widget when doing a global who in a channel, and "show address in messages" option added.
