Sauron

Sauron is a free DNS/DHCP management system with Web and command line interfaces. It is able to manage multiple DNS/DHCP servers. Complete dhcpd and named configurations are generated from a central SQL database.

    Release Notes: This release fixes numerous bugs. It also introduces new features, including plugin and external authentication support in the CGI interface, and "virtual" subnets for dividing (real) subnets into logical blocks.

      Release Notes: This release introduces VMPS (Cisco) support, support for custom DHCP classes, a utility for importing networks (VLANs) from a CSV file, and the ability for a user to be a member of more than one group. DBI (DBD::Pg) is now the default database access method.

        Release Notes: This is the third "stable" release. It introduces some enhancements and fixes bugs found in the previous release.

          Release Notes: This is second "stable" release of Sauron. It mainly fixes bugs found in the previous release and introduces a couple of new features.

            Release Notes: This release mainly fixes bugs found in 0.5.1. It adds an import-zone utility for importing zones into an existing server, either from a zone file or directly from DNS using zone transfer. Additionally, the first version of User Guide is finally included.
