Sacred

SACRED is an enhanced version of the ROM 2.4b6 codebase. The enhancements include new player skills, spells, classes, and races. Also included are arenas, OLC, Mud Compression Protocol, a Clan system, new flags, questing, color, automatic auctions, enhanced immortal utilities, spellchecking, hints, and many more features.

    Release Notes: There are some bugfixes with newer compilers. Checking has been added for NOTE To players. A summary page has been added to the worklist. The OMNI function has been cleaned up.

    Release Notes: If someone clans and it cost diamonds and then the MUD is copied over, the diamond cost would be lost. Note replies are initialized now to zero. The code was updated for GCC version 4.0. clanadmin name was fixed to properly read the name.

    Release Notes: The 2500 item limit has been removed. Exits no longer show closed doors. There is now a README file update for proper installation.

    Release Notes: Quest bugs were fixed. A draft area feature was added for building. The Clanadmin feature consolidates all clan administration. The NOWHERE flag was added. Vampire changes were made.

    Release Notes: snooplist has been fixed to find the correct snoopers. The mobrestringer file was missing from the 2.0 distribution.
