    Release Notes: Visualization for closed sessions was improved. An error that produced the message, "a_domain not found in MySQL result index 10," was fixed. A small fix was made to the user list. A tariff modification error was fixed.

        Release Notes: This version works on Linux and FreeBSD. It uses captive portal for authentication and ipfw/iptables for permitting or denying Internet traffic. It requires only MySQL, Apache, and PHP. It allows using a mixture of MySQL and MSAD via LDAP authentication.

          Release Notes: Date calculation was fixed so that the day begins from 0:00 and does not include empty days. The broken preferred language setting was fixed. Text was converted to UTF8. The documentation was translated to English. A segmentation fault which occurred when an URL has fewer "/" elements than expected was fixed. FreeBSD portage installation support was improved. A bug which sometimes caused log rotation to hang was fixed.

            freshmeat moderators improperly cut description, and disallowed create a separate branch for vmware images of version 2 so to prevent misunderstandings:

            Sacc2 is completely different product, it does not use squid proxy at all. It uses pcap for collecting traffic data, captive portal for authentication and ipfw/iptables for permitting or denying nat per user ip address.

            sacc2 is very lightweight, it does not require radius or something like this, it can use simultaneous authentication against mysql and several MS AD domains (via LDAP).
