RPG Next Gen Editor

RPG Next Gen Editor is a lightweight RPG editor solely based on the Eclipse platform. It has some basic plugins which among other things provide a tree view on the QSYS filesystem, an RPG editor, Compile Result view, Spooled File view, and editor. The focus of the editor is on small size and speed. The goal for this project is a feature-complete RPG (programming language on the IBM System i platform) free-format editor that can be used to develop small- to mid-sized projects.

Release Notes: This release adds content assist for built-in functions, prototypes, and procedures. It adds ILEDocs support for prototypes and procedures (coupled with content assist of prototypes/procedures). New plugin: Remote stream file editor. You can now edit the stream files on the IFS in your editor.

Release Notes: The main change is the switch to Eclipse 3.5.2, enabling quicker releases in the future due to the headless build scripts, which are much improved. There are some changes in the background. The old workspace is not compatible with this release (at least not without a helping hand). There is a new update site for Eclipse 3.5.x based installations.

Release Notes: Customizable colors in the editor, a customizable font in the Remote Explorer, the ability to open the copy book via the context menu of the editor, and a source code search dialog with printable results. Open members are now retained during sessions.
