Release Notes: This is the first feature-complete version of Rolodap. It contains all of the features needed to manage both contacts and users (the user admin portion was missing or lacking in previous releases), and all known bugs are fixed.
Release Notes: An export to PDA feature has been added. The company name has been added to libary/search result views. The library is now sortable by company name. Support for firm-wide/ company-wide books has been added, so that there are books that appear in all libary lists. A new field (access codes) that only admins can change has been added. Any UIDs that appear on this list are screened from being able to edit that record, and they cannot see the notes field. The middle initial problem in forms creation has been fixed.
Release Notes: Code to speed up opening any of the search pages, and a new feature that will create an HTML page that contains all of the contacts in a book, formatted so that it can be saved locally and referenced when not connected to the Internet.
Release Notes: There is now an admin section if you login as an admin user. Admins have extra rights to do things like truly delete contacts and books (versus just marking them for deletion). A simple ldif file can now be imported into rolodap quickly. This works well when bringing in a large number of contacts from other sources (such as the Netscape address book). These simple ldif files don't need any organizational information in the records (no need for an ou or dn); during the importation process, these organizational attributes will be added automatically (and if you do put them in, they are just ignored anyway). The user prefs section now saves any changes made by a user in the user's LDAP record, so they aren't lost between rolodap sessions. There are now some installation instructions and an extras directory which contains a sample ldif file that can be modified for your company and imported to get you started using rolodap right away. There is also a Perl script that can be used to convert a csv file that was created by the Win32 Netscape address book export utility to an ldif that is usable by rolodap.
Release Notes: Major improvements in user interface, personal book management, schema, and other items. The tarball on Sourceforge is delayed because of some SourceForge problems, but the cvs is current. A demo is at http://www.dewittross.com/rolodap/.
Release Notes: Functional group options, new configuration options, and tons of bugfixes.
Release Notes: Initial alpha release. It still has a few limitations, but it gives a good idea of what Rolodap is capable of and will be capable of when it is finished. There is also now a demo of Rolodap available from the Rolodap homepage. The Rolodap project is still under development and in need of more help with documentation, testing, and some PHP coding.
