I'm sorry Revelation didn't work reliably for you. However, I cannot fix these problems unless they are reported. If you would please give a more detailed description of the problems in the bug tracking system on the website, I would be more than happy to look into it. Please include the version of Python, gtk and pygtk you are using.
Thanks

Stability is a must..
for a password manager.
I used revelation for a while and it worked fine.
The interface is cute and easy to use.
Then it started to crash (seg fault) and was not
usable.
Fortunately i had previously exported most of my
passwords to a format usable by Figaro Password
Manager, wich one is not so nice but more reliable.

I've added it, and linked it to your listing by a dependency.

Sorry, I've added dependencies now. You also need gnome-python and pycrypto - pycrypto isn't in freshmeat, so I couldn't add a dependency on it. It's available from www.amk.ca/python/code...

Dependencies
This looks promising, however you need to specify your dependencies on bits of functionality that not all users will have installed.
e.g.
bash-2.05b$ /opt/csw/bin/revelation
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/opt/csw/bin/revelation", line 25, in ?
import pygtk
ImportError: No module named pygtk
bash-2.05b$
I now need to go and get pygtk and install it. Is there anything else I need?
Revelation files extension
Is there a specifc extension to be used while naming the revelation files in order to avoid selecting "All files" when opening a file ?
