Release Notes: The incorrect port setting in the example configuration file for refdbd was fixed. Logging in refdba was fixed. The timeout command line switch of refdbd now also uses -T instead of -t (just like in the clients). refdbd can now also grok hostnames in addition to IP addresses.
Release Notes: This release fixes a build problem on systems without libtermcap. Two features were added on the client side: now all clients can log messages to syslog or a custom log file, and refdba can now be run in batch mode for scripting purposes.
Release Notes: This release includes a web interface for most common reference management tasks, renaming of configuration files, new shell scripts to simplify starting, stopping, and reconfiguring the refdbd daemon from the command line as well as running the daemon from initd, clean compiling of the clients with the new readline 4.2 library, and some other minor bugfixes.
Release Notes: Password encryption, clients can ask for passwords interactively, simplified user management, and changes to the client-server dialog protocol (old clients won't work with the new application server and vice versa). Precompiled Cygwin binaries are also available.
Release Notes: Prebuilt binaries for Cygwin (statically linked), and a new autoconf macro to fix incorrect detection of mkfifo on this platform.
Release Notes: Several potential memory leaks eliminated. The client-server dialog for the bibliography tool fixed. A homegrown m4 macro moved from aclocal.m4 to acinclude.m4 so the configure script can be recreated from the input files without problems. Better error reporting for SQL-related errors. Improved whichdb output which now shows number of references and highest ID. Hostnames can now be used instead of IP addresses to specify servers.
Release Notes: This version is fully functional, but it has a few bugs.
